Dr. Farhad Moghimehfar is a data scientist, AI automation engineer, and tourism strategist focused on data-driven destination management and analytics. He holds a PhD from the University of Alberta in nature-based tourism and has postdoctoral experience in recreation and wildlife management. He has taught at UNBC and Vancouver Island University, focusing on data analytics and applied AI for real-world use. Currently, he serves as the BC Regional Innovation Chair in Tourism and Sustainable Rural Development at VIU.
